My stories are pragmatic, character-driven third-person limited stories that blend dry humor with competent space-opera adventure. The tone balances bureaucratic satire, warm interpersonal dynamics, and grounded problem-solving as the alien and human crew navigate the dangerous world of outer space.

My characters are a mixed bag. Most are outcasts from their species and have found a home on the Odyssey as crew members, and have adopted Earth as their new home.

Just An Old Guy Keeping Busy

My journey to becoming an author started when I could no longer bowl. Bowling occupied a large part of my life. For a short time, I competed in the PBA National Tour, then the regionals. I opened several pro shops in the Reno-Sparks area. The last one I had was at the Grand Sierra Resort (now GSR). Age and injuries caught up to me, and when I could no longer bowl, I started writing and found that I enjoyed it. Now I spend the bulk of my time writing eBooks; I only sell on Kindle.

My first website was titled '101 Dumb Blonde Jokes,' and I selected a few of the best from that list to share here. Blonde one-liners, men versus women, a man stranded on a desert island, to be exact. I may add a few others later.
